The ArchAndroid Crown: Designed by Zoman Ignatius, the half-elf, half-human mystic, reportedly 500 years ago. According to legend, the crown has several magic properties, as well as innovative technologies that can be employed only by The ArchAndroid. Zoman was a consummate inventor, artist and sculptor, a cross between Tesla and Da Vinci, and as such, he designed the crown to be a work of beauty that would embody the very spirit of Metropolis. According to legend, the crown features prominent Metropolis buildings and towers that will light up radiantly when the one and only true ArchAndroid wears the crown. According to the Daily Horos, this opulent headdress was stolen from the vaults in the Black House, reportedly by 1954, in October of 2715. Several members of 1954 were hunted down and executed for this crime. But the crown was never found. Many claim it has been secreted away to the Wonderground. There is also word that in the year 2010, several 1954 operatives have crafted a replica of this historic headdress to be worn by Janelle Monáe in anticipation for her album The ArchAndroidno word on whether or not this replica has magic properties The Living Cyktionary, 9th Edition, 2719

Yo, this album is cool & all But Beyonce had one of the best albums of all time!! This is too Funky, Mellow, Weird & Monotonous for me. Its a decent effort but I want music that gives me life & makes me Feel & connect inside my own world, not take me to a completely different galaxy!, this is a realm that I’m not too familiar with. I need something I can confidently blast on the Radio & enjoy. I’m used to more mainstream music so Ill have to grow to love this style more. I really didn’t notice a whole lot of Genre hopping, It’s more so settle, there’s alternative Soul, Classical/Theater/Thematics, Rock, jazzy Hip hop & hints of R&B throughout, very fluent though. Honestly, The Only songs I really like is “Deep Cotton”, “Dance Or Die”, & “Cold War”; & maybe bits & pieces of a couple other tracks but thats it. Even so, this is much better than that Sade’s boring quite storm mess though. Just weird & what are some of these songs even about anyway??. Overall, because I look at everything when writing a review Ill still give this a 6 out of 10.

Update: I’m not gonna call this Over Rated but This isn’t for everyone. The great reviews(which is why I’m here) can be mis leading, Whether you like this or not truly depends entirely on your overall musical taste.

& Please forgive me, I’m just a little pressed because Beyonce never got the praise that she deserved for any of her albums. Just because her music is more Commercial doesn’t make it any less great…

If i could give it Zero rating I would, just do not get this person. Strange, but the music is terrible to me. Maybe I need to listen to the mess again. No, I listen to it 3 times and Can not stand her CD. Advise to her is to find out what kind of music you want to and stick to it, but you are not R&B.

Okay, you cant send this cd back. I was told that if I liked Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and Eryckah Badu that I had to have Janelle Monae. AND WHY? There is nothing neo soul about this artist. This sounds like a bunch of weird sounds and bs. I am not feeling it. I am really disappointed. I bought the cd and have not listened to it since the painful first 2 times trying to feel it. I wanted so bad to hear what all the 5 star people heard but I felt like I was listening to something out of back to the future. The most interesting part of the cd was the jacket that tells the story of her being from another time. I do not know if it is great marketing or a ploy or the truth or a attempt to be but real talk, NO SONG IS GOOD. This cd made me start previewing music before I buy it. Don’t get tricked.

  5. It is rather amazing to find such an almost unanimous score of 5 for any album. Granted the album is not bad and interesting at times but to me it seems way over-produced and whatever the qualities of Janelle may be they seem to get lost in the whole massively overproduced shebang. I can understand that some could love it but quasi-unanimity? When is the last time this occurs? Myself, while recognizing some interest in the album, I will be a little skeptical and wonder if Mr. Combs did not mobilize a bunch of his people to drum up the beat (after having done so in the Newsweek article). Sorry byt I need more than a reference to Metropolis and Fritz Lang to be convinced…The ArchAndroid
