  1. Title says it all, this is a great show and the writers continue to amaze me but WTF do we need with 13 (who seems to suddenly be straight and not bisexual anymore) she adds ZERO to this show. I lump her in with Dexter’s sister/RL wife as someone who must have a relative on the staff to still be on the show since they detract from what you came to see.

Don’t bother buying the digital copy of House season 6. The video is pixilated and stretched to where it is painful to sit through. your better off paying the extra money and getting the digital copy though iTunes.

I am not saying the show itself is bad, house is by far the best show out there. Just i don’t recomend wasting money on the amazon digital copys.

  3. Firstly, this is not a review, it is a message of thanks to NBC/Universal for finally releasing HOUSE M.D. on the Blu-ray Disc format. I left a highly unpopular “review” on the Season 5 DVD page complaining about the lack of a full 1080p version of the show; perhaps someone at NBC/Universal took those comments to heart, so if they are reading this page, thank you for putting one of my favorite shows on the best quality format available. I have already pre-ordered my copy, and I will augment this post with a review/comments about the release when I receive and go through my copy.

House seems incapable of putting on a bad season. However in my opinion this is the weakest one yet. This season was less about medical mysteries and more soap opera. The first two episodes barely feature any of the main characters other then House. This absurdity of what House has been through and does and still manages to be employed, have insurance, etc, has risen to levels of absurdity. That brilliant doctors in their ownright would except intern level type positions, that are supposed to be short term, and continuing working with the world’s biggest ass, stretches the imagination.

The show consistantly swapping supporting characters is damaging the show. It’s not clear season to season or even mid season who will be fired or back working for House again. Its difficult to grow and like the characters when you can’t count on them being there. Clearly the show is built around House, but failing to build up his supporting cast and making them expendable is probably a mistake.

That said this season still had some good episodes and House remains one of the best scripted shows on television.
